Nuking US military bases might be usefull.
Are you talking about the ones in third party soverign nations? I am sure Japan and Germany would love that.

Pakistan just became a dictatorship, you don't think it would in the fun?

Oh, edit: Europe will kick itself in the ass for reducing the size of it's armed forces.

The economies of the carribean collapse rapidly as their economies are tied very close to the U.S.

The UK withdraws almost instantly? I would imagine the UK trying to maintain a Kuwait sized "free Iraq" for their purposes...

Who knows perhaps Sarkozys "new France" would start supporting the US troops currently there and together with the UK guarantee Iraqs "soverenghty".

PS What happens to India,Pakistan and Afganistan?

I'm fairly sure that carriers have nukes, and that there would be other nukes, that wouldn't necessarily be on US soil. If we still maintain B-52's in the air at all times with nukes then those will still exist. Hence my comment that all the nukes/US forces would have to disappear for the question to be interesting.

Hard to say, it is not as if the only thing keeping Pakistan and India from mixing it up is the U.S., there are lots of other reason they don't mix it up.

China is a real wildcard, what does it do?

Whatever happens, Japan ****s a brick.

I was commenting a US troops try to conquer Europe scenario.

Anyway the premise is silly since even if US troops conquered the EU they would still have difficulty occupying them... but who knows perhaps a Byzantium-like country (the Eastern United States) would form?

The U.S. troops would not attack anyone, why would they? Silly idea. Their priotities would be split between self preservation and attempting to resettle the U.S.

So they are not even going to nuke a third party, they are going to nuke themselves

I imagine with their own country destoyed and their families dead, these marauding armies will lose intrest in the niceties of current western style warfare. Rule by the rod

                        I said no US nukes.

But if they did remain, I find it more likely that US troops would blackmail world governments for resources and funds. Or heck even selling some nukes on the black market. A charismatic general or two might try to go Genghis Kan. Techno-barbs maybe. Or mercenaries for whatever country they were in.

You said no subs. The nuclear triad is a bit more resilient then that.

You didn't say anything about no subs or no nukes in the original post. I reject your new parameters. I will assume that any forces out of the U.S. are as they were.

U.S. forces are not going to try to blackmail anyone, the army is made of citizen soldiers, not hessian mercenaries.
