Pakistan just became a dictatorship, you don't think it would in the fun?
Oh, edit: Europe will kick itself in the ass for reducing the size of it's armed forces.
The economies of the carribean collapse rapidly as their economies are tied very close to the U.S.

Without teh US, Iran, teh Saudis, and probably Turkey would go at each other over Iraq, teh Gulf principalities, Kuwait, etc. Syria would want to join in teh fun, too. Ahmedinejad may make some threatening noises towards Israel, but mostly for show.
Who knows perhaps Sarkozys "new France" would start supporting the US troops currently there and together with the UK guarantee Iraqs "soverenghty".

I was commenting a US troops try to conquer Europe scenario.

I'm fairly sure that carriers have nukes, and that there would be other nukes, that wouldn't necessarily be on US soil. If we still maintain B-52's in the air at all times with nukes then those will still exist. Hence my comment that all the nukes/US forces would have to disappear for the question to be interesting.
But if they did remain, I find it more likely that US troops would blackmail world governments for resources and funds. Or heck even selling some nukes on the black market. A charismatic general or two might try to go Genghis Kan. Techno-barbs maybe. Or mercenaries for whatever country they were in.Last edited by Heraclitus; December 6, 2007, 16:20.Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”

You didn't say anything about no subs or no nukes in the original post. I reject your new parameters. I will assume that any forces out of the U.S. are as they were.
U.S. forces are not going to try to blackmail anyone, the army is made of citizen soldiers, not hessian mercenaries.
