      Other people have nukes too.

Anyhow to make it perfectly clear all American nukes are gone.

Modern man calls walking more quickly in the same direction down the same road “change.”
The world, in the last three hundred years, has not changed except in that sense.

That is true, where would the world get their right-winged BS from?

A new war in the middle east, in very short order as Israel's neighbors attack Israel.

The Arabs have sadly, caught up militarily. Israel may well end up being forced to use nukes.

          China invades over Taiwan.

North Korea crosses the demarcation line and rolls into the south.

The south could stop them. Too bad Seoul would be totally destroyed.

I was figuring he meant Iran. It probably depends on whether neighbors are neighbors in the sense of being countries in israels neighborhood or just in the sense of sharing a border.

Fundamentalist muslims worldwide will see this as nothing less then divine intervention from allah, which to be honest, seems like a reasonable interpretation.

I cannot predict what this will cause to happen in the middle east, though Indonesia will be thrown into serious turmoul.

Canada would probably send in forces to keep the peace in neighboring areas but would avoid actually using threat of force to claim control of any of it.
Do you think any other countries might attempt territorial gains?

I could imagine Cuba trying to take Florida or Russia claming Alaska... or heck even come European countries trying to get some land to use as prison colonies.

PS A client quasi-US country subservient to Canada and the EU might be created since the US oil reserves would still be quite valuable reasource.

I did not say they would win Geronimo, only they would try. I really couldn't say who would win. Israels has more neighbors then those on their immediate borders.

                      Iran, Syria, Lebannon.

Egypts secular govt. might collapse for the same reason there would be serious trouble in Indonesia, they might join in the fun.

I don't think U.S. forces would attack anyone. They would proboably resettle. I am guessing a split between the actual U.S., Brittain and the rest of europe and wherever they were at the time, if it was a friendly nation.

I am not sure what you think nuking the pristine forests of Manhattan will do for you.

Not without their US provided maintenance contracts they aren't. Egypt and SA would be totally screws. Jordan isn't going to attack Isreal, and Syria is flying 60's aircraft.
"The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.

Likewise Americans living abroad might consider it Rapture and go all bzerk-like, maybe even interpreting the Arab invasion of Israel as the final battle of Armageddon.

That is an interesting scenario, but lets imagine there is a reasonable explanation that convinces most reasonable people.

Patroklos, they might not have the same quality hardware, but they have a lot more of it then they had in the last war.

I really can't imagine a reasonable explination Heraclitus. What could possibly explain something so bizzare other then the hand of the divine?
