The US is a net importer of food overall, so unless the food aid picture significantly distorts it I doubt there will be starvation. Provided of course what food there is can still get to people.Comment

I'm pretty sure no one would want to set foot on the former continental U.S. seeing as it just went poof. It would probably be a no-man's land for many decades, if not centuries to come. Wouldn't people wonder why it's all gone, and want some pretty succinct answers?Comment
