Re: Fortress Europe (the reality)
I agree with Jon.
The problem in Europe is that we basically see ALL immigration as a bad thing, especially if they are brownish.
If we would judge them with more respect, we might even go and have fair trade with them. That (and I mean both import tariffs as well as export subsedies here) would probably keep away half of the immigrants anyway.
The most baffling thing IMO is that in the discussions on immigration (at least in Holland) there appear to be three categories:
1) political asylum seekers. They can enter, no problem. (well, theoratically)
2) the 'good fellas'. That's the bright brownies who basically can fill the gaps left by the absence of sufficient bright Homies. Any whitey falls automatically in this category.
3) the 'luck-seekers' (phonetical translation): anybody else who basically risks life and limb to seek the best opportunaty available. For some reason it's a crime to do that. They are prosecuted with every means available by the prosperous Europeans. Who individually might still (illegally!) hire them to clean the house and renovate their appartment. There is a reason they come over here you know! (and no, they don't come because there are no nice virgins to rape in their own back of the woods)

Hi all, I have a little question to my fellow Europeans.
What should we do about illegal immigration into our respective countries?
