  • Fortress Europe (the reality)

Hi all, I have a little question to my fellow Europeans.

What should we do about illegal immigration into our respective countries?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Hmhh.. I don't know. Check them out I guess. Let the cool ones in. Kick the jerks out and say they can come back when they have corrected their ways.

Impossible question though, there is no answer or solution.

Why do you have a fence on you're southern border then?

Good answer, but the thing is, we’re right next to some rather poor places like the Middle East and Africa we really don’t get much educated immigrants and we may get inundated. And you’re right it is almost impossible to get a good solution for this problem.

Heraclitus, well, hte only thing we can do is try to help these neighbouring places so they won't come in groups. That's about the only thing, we can't use force and we can't just put a sign that says "no new people" either.

I'm sure you'll finish it under president Giuliani

Anyway you guys do seem to complain a lot, a whole lot. Latinos aren't that culturally different from you, so ehh why the whining.

It’s not like they’re costing you jobs, you outsource those and who would want to be a maid anyway… :

PS (BTW don’t know his policies, I just tossed him in because he's a republican and he could win, you can inser a xenophobic republican candidate if you know one)

Actually that’s what I had in mind, but we already give more humanitarian aid than any other country…
Maybe a wider effort is in place? Something that would teach them to fish not handouts like now…I don’t know some kind of economic and stabilization pact or just some programs for those countries… Its hard to say.

In any case we can’t just reward governments like the one in Sudan. So what do we do with people from countries that aren’t changing for the better?
