I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Mine is Grog, captured from a game I was playing using the "The Ancient Mediterranean" Mod for CivIII, aka TAM. He wears his santa hat because I'm lazy.

Grog is... well, that's a longer story.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

I'm not sure on the history of mine, but I first saw it on a Mac program called Hotlines, it was one of the first Peer to Peer file sharing programs, quite good, I got a lot of things using it, I of course used the PC version. In the program you could choose from a list of icons, and my avatar was one of them.

But this icon intrigues me, he's like this isometric Apple conformist. I am not one, but the whole thing is kind of artsy, meaningful and funny.

Later I felt it was kind of boring, so I animated him to have a smoke, as if he's a guy just standing there having a smoke, not caring about anything.

I've been curious to know if anyone has noticed that he is infact animated, coz its quite subtle. So who here, only just noticed it?

For the record, I don't smoke, and never have.
