    What if the friend is supersticious too ? He could think that AHZZ's prayers would be effective and that he didn't need to get medical help.

                Despite my comments about praying, I truly hope your friend pulls through this.

                He will be in my thoughts. And please bonk his family on their heads for not having him taken to hospital earlier.

                                That was probably the worst way to spell it, doesn't look like a medical term anyway... but then again even "graham positive" without the quotation mark brings up 0 results from the medical field.

                                Anyway best of luck to you and your friend.
