This sucks.
It's been 10 days now with a headache and a fever of 101+. On Sunday I went to the local ER (not my regular hospital). I was there for 8 hours. I had a urine test, blood test, a chest x-ray and two CT Scans. They kicked me out (actually I kinda wanted to leave) and told me "We don't know what's wrong. Follow up with your regular doctor on Monday."
So the next day, I get in contact with my doctor (phone). He says "To tell someone to follow up with your doctor the very next day is kinda obsured. It sounds like a liability issue. They should have admitted you." He hims and haws for a bit and say go see a Neuroligist. So I contact a Neuroligist and they can't get me in until Monday. So another week of a headache and 101+ fever, all while I have a 1 month old to help take care of (plus a 17 month old).
I can't do this. I called a RN friend of mine (from the same hospital I go to), and she is going to take me to Urgent care in a few minutes. I have a feeling that I am going to get a Spinal Tap and very well could get admitted (that is what my friend thinks). I could be gone from the boards for a few days.
