Wow. I didn't expect this kind of response.
Well, I'm still here. I still have a headache and a fever, but still alive.
I actually left the ER after only 2 hours, but by the time I had gotten home, my wife had disconnected the modem hid it saying that maybe my headache was from sending so much time on the internet. I finially got her to give back the moden once I pointed out to her that in order to kill time I have been watching movies... on my laptop.
I did not get a Spinal Tap as they feel it couldn't be Meningitis (good call SB!) because I don't have a stiff neck (just a sore one). They sent me home saying "We don't know what's wrong. Wait till Monday when you see the Neuroligist." So by then it will have been 16 consecutive days of 101+ fever and headache.
Sloww... I'm not missing any time off from work during this. At least I'm not missing any time that I didn't already have off. I have been off on FLMA since the birth of Jordan Elizabeth on the 28th of January. I am due to return to work the night of Sunday March 11th. God I hope I'm able to return at that time.

I did have meningitis though. Got a half day vacation from the hospital today, 5 days of antibiotics left to go. No more veins left.
