    • I wonder how far Nebraska is going to drop in the polls after today's loss.

I see Hill had 35 carries for 249 yds in a 41-9 win against lowly Northwestern. Way to pad those stats!

Michigan passes a lot more than Wisconsin, too.

If you're just doing Top 10, you actually can do that, at least so far this year. Observe:

            1. Ohio State
            2. Michigan
            3. USC
            4. Texas
            5. Louisville
            6. West Virginia
            7. Arkansas
            8. Auburn
            9. Florida
            10. Notre Dame

As long as USC > Arkansas > Auburn > Florida > Tennessee > Cal, OSU > Texas, and Michigan > Notre Dame, you can do it. Needless to say, this will undoubtedly get juggled in the weeks to follow, especially if Cal beats USC.

Speaking of USC, they seem to be the only unbeaten team in remote danger of losing next week, in a road game at Oregon State. Not gonna happen.

            • Okay, I'm revising my previous rankings a little. I'm taking that Cal victory over USC out. Again this week I didn't get to see many games, so I'm a little in the dark on why Ten wasn't able to stamp out Alabama. Still, from their past games, they're my favorite to beat OSU in the title game, if they can get there.

              1) OSU
              2) Michigan
              3) West Virginia
              4) Tennessee
              5) USC
              6) Texas
              7) Louisville
              8) Clemson
              9) Cal
              10) Florida

Why no faith in your own school? Pittsburgh, by the numbers, had just a prolific offense as them, and not only did Rutgers beat Pittsburgh, Rutgers dominated the game. I think they have a decent shot at winning both games. (I'm not saying that they will win both... just that their chances are much better than you give them credit for.)

                • Why no faith?! It's freaking Louisville and West Virginia! That's like when Missouri was 5-0, and if they had Texas and Oklahoma (prior to AP getting hurt), saying why don't they have faith in their team when they think they'll get spanked by both.

                    • Rutgers is much better than Missouri though. I think they have a chance against Louisville. I bet they make it a game. Louisville (IIRC) will have already played West Virginia, and (IMHO) lost, so they'll have their momentum sapped a little.

                      • By that time Brohm will get back into his rhythm and will be deadly. Hoping the defense can make it close, but when Brohm is on his game (he isn't 100% healthy yet), Louisville can put up some big points.

                          • My votes. No changes...

                            1. OSU (thinking about going USC, Michigan, OSU due to strength of competition)
                            2. USC (toughest competition gets the props)
                            3. Michigan
                            4. Cal (tougher competition than TN, even though TN won the head-to-head)
                            5. Tennessee
                            6. Notre Dame (tough choice between ND, Auburn, and Fla, but ND's only loss is to #3)
                            7. Auburn
                            8. Florida
                            9. Louisville (weak competition)
                            10. Texas (weak competition)

And Rutgers would kick around Missouri.
