How come the PAC 10 only has ten teams? They are clearly inferior to the Big Ten, which goes up to 11.

I'm glad to see
that Spinal Tap is your inspiration for humor.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

I don't care what anyone says, the SEC is the far superior conference this year. Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Tennessee, with three of those teams still in the national title hunt, is better than any other conference. I don't really know why there's any discussion on this. All other conferences have 2 teams in the title hunt at most.
The ACC is, by far, the worst, though, with both FSU and Miami being the biggest disappointments of them all. Like I said before, a bet against the ACC this bowl season is a sure win.

Where's your evidence?
All other conferences have 2 teams in the title hunt at most.
Only because the other conferences aren't as overrated as the SEC.
In actuality, though, the SEC doesn't have any teams in the title hunt at the moment. They need several teams to lose if they want to send one of their mediocre teams to the title game..KH FOR OWNER!

The SEC teams that I listed as title contenders (all but Arkansas) are all 1 loss teams, who lost to.......other SEC teams. Auburn, Florida, and Ten are all in the AP top-10 for a reason.
Earth to Drake, most people are counting on those other teams to get a loss, and for the SEC title winner to be in very high contention for the BSChamp game. By your definition, only OSU/Mich and USC are in title contention, which I hope you know is bunk.
If USC wins out, they're a legitimate Championship contender (who will lose badly to OSU), but based on past BCS seasons, what are the odds of getting two legit contenders? The odds are clearly stacked against this!

Yeah, because the SEC is overrated. If the Big 12 was as overrated as the SEC, then Texas, Texas A&M and Missouri would all be in the top-10. If the Big East got the respect it deserved, unbeaten Louisville, West Virginia and Rutgers would all be ranked higher than a bunch of one-loss SEC teams.

I bet you're one of the people who thought USC would blow out Texas last year. Or that Ohio State would get blown out by Miami in 2002.KH FOR OWNER!

its funny how similar usc this year is to OSU in 2002. but I still go by the averages"I hope I get to punch you in the face one day" - MRT144, Imran Siddiqui

Since I know you're going to ask, the top 10 teams over the past 40 years (ranked by mean wins): Nebraska (9.8), Alabama (8.8), Michigan (8.8), Penn State (8.8), Oklahoma (8.7), Ohio State (8.7), Texas (8.5), Tennessee (8.4), Florida State (8.4) and USC (8.3).
