I ain't met any that did. That said, the South, while coming a long way in dealing with its past, still has some real bad attitudes towards non-whites, and hasn't fully acknowledged the true horror of what happened here. This was a terrorist state for Blacks. And the "Confederate" flag was the banner of that terrorism. I don't mean just by the KKK. I mean by the Citizens Councils. I mean by the governments in the South. I mean by everyday folks who would find the murderers of Black folks not-guilty. That is the true heritage of that flag. It's never had any other meaning. Ever.

If people want to express their pride in their Southern history and heritage, maybe they should use an actual flag used by the South. Otherwise, they're just ignorant.

So in other words, historians cannot explicate on the slavery system of the 19th century unless we can find a way to time travel back to that time period.

And astronomers cannot study the universe unless they become astronauts and actually go into space and visit each planet.

Your question does not make any sense if the point of your question is that you cannot have an informed opinion about anything with which one has no direct, personal experience with. As for me, I have only been to Orlando and Miami so my traveling to the South has been very limited.

We should do away with history altogether then, since we do not have any ability to time travel.

yeah I think that's why they ripped into Kid Rock during the superbowl show (though his music was a worse atrocity). Although Janet was the main focus of the debauchery of that particular show, but many people were upset at kid rock antics with the stars and stripes.

I want some media attention. I wonder if I can get some news coverage if I burn confederate flags. But flags are expensive. Seems like a lot of good money going to waste. .
