Do I still play SMAC? sometimes. Usually only a couple times a year.

And I hope off topic isn't deteriorating. And it's only slow because of summer.

But all the civ2 results have me thinking. A lot of posters here are long time posters. Perhaps we aren't as accomodating to newbies as we should be. . Perhaps they don't actually like being called a DL. .

It's tough to get used to at first. As this place was going strong when I got here in 99. You just have to start off slow. But before you know it, you're addicted.

MOO2. Yes, I still play it. And since coming here, I've gotten into SMAC, GalCiv and Civ 3.

When they kind of died off with Civ3's release I drifted into the Off Topic and gradually got used to it.

I'm not sure about the Civ2 -Poly OT and Civ3 MZO OT split as two individual communities, when I came here Civ3 had already been out but no one was really playing it much.

As for Poly deteriorating, I wouldn't think so. Summers are usually very slow and things tend to pick up in September.

Ben, you had this "outwardly appearing" very beautiful woman as your avatar, Ann C, read up on her and she is in a "Class by herself" very unique woman, now I am looking at this avatar and was wondering if she maybe had been a flower child of the 60's and that is what causes her way of thinking

anyhoo, it could be she went from the "Age of Enlightenment" back in the 60's to the Dark Ages with her current thinking process, thus tieing the post I am making to CIV
