CIV 2 on Playstation was what got me hooked, I watched my son play it on our 60" TV Screen and thought, man that looks fun. I bought a memory card for me, and asked him if it was ok to play it, he said sure, I know it was like an 18 hour marathon first go

You know the old saying, "Just...One more turn" is exactly the rush it gave me.

My wife said no to occupying the TV like that so I went to Babbages to purchse it, and got turned on to a new release, CTP.

I played the CIV 2 for PC quite a bit as well.

One of my favorite features of CIV 2 was the caravan, if it arrived in a city which didnt have a need for a good, you could help rush a wonder of even, dont shoot me, but I believe you could transport food from one city to another, IIRC???

Oh and my second favorite feature which I dearly miss, remember the advisors? They used to crack me up.

I first came here for Civ2, but I bored pretty quickly of it due to all the Civ1 I had already played. I came back for SMAC, but had forgotten my handle and created Sikander. I play Civ2 about once a year, SMAC more often.

I first came as a 15yo Civ: Call to Power noob.

Civ2. I still occasionally play it, but get bogged down by the fact that my impatience and difficulties keeping track of multiple things make me a terrible player of strategy games in general.

Have CIV III an IV too, but only III works - IV & nvidia vanta isn't compatible

Do occaitionally set the surrounding world on Pause and play both
