I was one of the few Liverpool fans who wasn't too bothered when Owen left (more money would have been nice though). A player who relies on acceleration as much as Owen does is only going one way when he reaches 25-26. He's still a good player, but not world class like he was in his early twenties.Comment

Poland seems to have bounced back from their disappointing game against Ecuador (half time against Germany). They've made the changes I recommended in post #179. Good for Poland that Pawel Janas is a apolytonite.
