Q, I didn't give anyone a nasty look. There was no reason to, and I hate those nasty looks too. I just observed so I would be ready.

Q, I don't doubt it. However the arabs themselves might have looked nasty at a guy with one of those funny little hats the jews wear. People generally suck and it's up to the individual to break the pattern.Long time member @ Apolyton

Correction every individual has compassion and is willing to help the unfortunate as long as they aren't smarmy commies who would kill you if they had the opportunity.Last edited by Ogie Oglethorpe; May 25, 2006, 15:53."Just puttin on the foil" - Jeff Hanson

Ogie, and Kid would remind us all of Ken Lay, et al. I have to admit, there are a few bad apples out there.
Commies, on the other hand, are perhaps the most heartless bastards that ever lived in that they manipulate the less fortunate to gain power for themselves. Stalin, Saddam, that Adelphia head, and Ken Lay are as well. The only difference is, say, the method by which they manipulated the less fortunate to gain personal power (in the form of wealth).
Indeed, one could argue that a society that is based on individualism must also, in some form, tacitly condone greed--greed for power in any form.
Kinda heartless, don't you think?B♭3

It is ALWAYS acceptable to hate someone for their politics.

I hate just about everybody... but for different reasons.
When it comes to politics, I don't necessarily hate people because of their views. I hate people because of the reasons they believe the things they do. It may be ignorance, stupidity, a lack of morality... lots of reasons.
Although, when I say hate, I don't mean it in the strongest sense of the word. I don't think in black and white. There are degrees of hate.
I can't really explain it right now, but I wanted to point that out so I don't the the inevitable dumbass response: "ZOMFG, why do you hate everyone? You shouldn't hate... blah blah..."
stfu... jeez...
I hate people like that.To us, it is the BEAST.

Not at all, people can express their disgust for greed in several ways within an individualistic society, they just cant trump the freedom of greedy people. If the greed takes the form of trumping the freedom of others, then it is no longer a society based on individualism.B♭3
