Their legitimate parliaments voted for enterance into the USSR, then their enterance has been approved by the parliament of the Soviet Union. Is it undemocratic/illegal procedure? Why Montenegro can vote for independence , but Baltic states can't vote for joining up the Union?
To prove that annexion was illegal, you have to prove that parliaments of those states were illegitimate, thus their decisions were also illegitimate. Good luck.
