Yeah, sure whenever you don't like the outcome the elections are rigged. How do you imagine such elections? A Soviet soldier standing behind every voter and checking what he votes for?
Those parliaments were legitimate and their decisions were legitimate as well.
The end of story.
What's the difference? Can occupiers force favorable election outcomes or not?

Regarding Cheney, I think he just misses the good old days where an evil empire was digging its own grave with military expendatures while its economy tanked. Now, you have an upcoming asian giant to deal with who are some of the hardest working and capitalistic people by nature... Hell, the Chinese have been capitalists since before Marco Polo said howdy. At the same time they are a communist despotism which puts them at odds with the world's democracies. Our strategy of open markets is a foundation of our democratic governing philosophy. For the Chinese, raking in the wealth of the west, that philosophy must read like 'bend over and spread em' , as they skyrocket into the position of #1 economic power in the world. Historicly, from that position, all else follows. So, I see Cheney, the strategist of the titled boxer who is getting badly beaten, dreaming of the last fight... and making speeches accordingly.Long time member @ Apolyton

I can't answer your question right now. It's about 4 am here. Within last 48 hours I slept 2-3 at best and it was over 24 hours ago, so I think I need some rest now. I'll be off-line for three days, then I'll reply. But if you want a short version right now - the difference in circumstances.
