I bought some expensive Italian hikers (about $250, which is a lot more than I usually spend) that breath quite well, but it's not perfect.
It just means that I have to wash my feet very vigorously. Since I am tall, this is a real pain in the ass, but my wife refuses to wash them for me.

Being a roofer is an awesome job. I used to do that in summer breaks.
