IT seems like that survey is just looking at the highest pay with the most openings. That's great but the best job isn't just the job with the highest pay or the most openings. Instead for me it is very important to be doing something I like and which I think has benifets to the wider community. Those are the two main reasons I studied geology and went into the enviromental field. I find geology intellectually interesting plus I like the feeling of helping to come up with solutions to local environmental problems.
