Edit -Xposted. Damn you Vel. Let me get one in before I simply sound like an echo chamber.

Hate to tell you this, buddy, but if your "brigade" includes snoopy, Imran and myself then we stopped posting because we'd already ass-raped Kaakie

No need to keep it up.

Ohhhhhh, you ass-raped a humor piece.

Your parents must be proud indeed.

If only you were half as clever as you think you are....

Sorry Cyclotron, I wasn't trying to be mean, but my statement
If X in an accomodation to someone who speaks spanish and a mexican speaks spanish, X is an accomodation to a mexican. I wouldn't propose that they only help mexicans, but they definately do help mexicans. But like i said, that wasn't specifically what I was talking about in the post to which you responded.
        is logically accurate.

Since mexicans that would be affected by the accomodations entirely fall into spanish speakers group, it works to say that accomodations for spanish speakers are accommodations for mexicans.

The funniest thing is that KH thinks he won that debate?! How is that even possible???

Tripe. Og's position one way or the other doesn't change the message one whit. Nor does it change what he and I both pointed out

Who the **** is talking about Og (if by that you mean Ogie Ogelthorpe)?

I'm talking about Kaak, the originator of this thread, and coward extraordinaire.

You post some "humour" with an obvious political agenda, you get shot down in your lameass attempts to defend its major points, and then you whine about it only being a joke, and not your work after all.

Again tho....all those brain cells in your head, you already knew that, right?

Admit it...you're open minded....as long as "the other side" agrees with you.

Soon as someone says the first thing you don't like....off we go. Racist. Bigot. Idiot.

            So much for open mindedness.

So far I haven't called anybody a racist, bigot or idiot.

I have called Kaak a coward and an anglo xenophobe.

Your comments on being open-minded are yet another example of vague, fluffy thinking from a man who is apparently unable to focus concentrated thought on an issue and who always resorts to murmuring platitudes.

Interesting thing tho, KH, is that I didn't name any names.

You da one who felt compelled to respond.

What? Did I hit a little too close to home for comfort?

I didn't demand that you respond, but you rose to the occassion anyway.

And a question for you....have you ever gone to a comedy club?

If a comedian says something similar to post one of this thread, what's your response? Do you start with the catcalls and name-calling?

If so....how often do you get tossed out on your ass?

              Inquiring minds and all...

Mmmm...and given that you quoted Og(ie), I'm assuming that YOU were talking about him.

It was your post and all that.

KH - you didn't shoot down anything. You posted mindless dribble inundated with name calling. And when I pointed it out, you responded with more name calling instead of using anything of substance to back up your arguments.
As for the zenophobe comment...another clear example of you talking about something you know nothing about
And how exactly am I a coward?

Vel-- don't you think it is interesting how you post something that provides points and then quotes to support them, and then are told you are unable to focus, while KH can't seem to do anything but make accusations without evidence, and start name-calling???

                          Because you're a coward too.

I stopped reading this thread about the time it hit halfway down the second page and Kaak started backpedalling. Opened it up again and saw that the second-stringers had started taking over because the original fight was so one-sided that it bored the **** out of all of us with half a brain.

I don't think that the satire you posted was racist either. I think it was xenophobic and chauvinist.

edit2: if I thought it was racist I would have said so. Unlike you and Vel I have no problem being specific in my criticisms and opinions, and I also have no problem admitting when I was wrong

*yawn* i am truly baffled that you are unable to perform any kind of substantial cognition. Do you really think that if you keep repeating that you are right without providing anything to support the claim people are going to believe it?
