                            Man, the Irish got so jobbed by the football gods on that one.

                            Nevertheless, it was a much closer game than the overwhelming majority said it would be, and I hang my hat on that fact proudly.

                            The Irish are staying at #5, period, because they proved today that they belong.

                            And USC earned this one, no bones about it.

                                Actually, I'll probably have to move them up in my ranking. The Irish are only two plays away from being undefeated. (And the Wolverines are three... game of inches, man. Game of inches.)
