  • I googled the word "State." So clearly "State" is NCSU. The internet does not lie!

PSU is PSU when typing, since Penn State is longer, and Penn is completely different University.

I was a bit surprised at UT. Whenever I say UT I'm saying Tennessee. Texas is an easy enough name already, whereas I've typed Tennessee 5 times already and I still don't know if I've spelled it right.

Either way, Imram, are you still in school? You're up awfully late.

    • Well try this for an internet test.

Go to Yahoo and type "Go State!" (with the quote marks.

The first, third and 10the result are Michigan State Athletics.

Do the same thing but search for images. The first 2 results are Michigan State.

Under Google, Michigan State is the first result also.

As you said "The internet doesn't lie"

      • Michigan State is really moving the ball against Ohio State's excellent defense.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

              • Somebody needs to check on asleepatthewheel. For Ole Miss to come that close to the win and fall short is rough. Still, anytime you have 3rd and goal from the 2 and run your next plkay from the 12, it's going to be tough to win a game.

Sorry, Penn State is NEVER PSU when talking about the football team.

Under Google, Michigan State is the first result also.

                    • If you want the name of your school to be "go state" then by all means "go for it." Otherwise, every time someone says "State," they're obviously talking about NCSU.

                      • Of course not... because no one cares about anything that comes out of North Carolina in the first place .

Btw, on Yahoo, "State" using only .edu returns KANSAS State University as #1, followed by PENN State. NC State isn't in the Top 10.

Unexpected, but Wisconsin retians Paul Bunyans axe with a win over Minnesota at Minnesota! The Gophers must have been wondering to much about how they could rent those boats their pro counterparts use...

                            • I have a feeling the winning team in ND-USC is going to have to score 50.

Btw, I never saw what happened in Minnesota, but they had that thing won!
