                        The latest figures seem to be $25bn, I think the 12bn figure might have been just New Orleans and not Biloxi etc.

                                It's a bit early. I'm not a gloom-and-doomer, but my guess is that this storm will easily surpass Andrew in cost, both financially and in terms of human lives. And that is pretty significant.
