jeez, you guys are so negative. The western edge of the storm is falling apart. It's already downgraded to a cat 4 before even making landfall. This storm will be nothing. The city will still be standing. Very few people will die.

I've love to see it. You guys are too afraid of death. That's the way I want to go. Standing outside in a hurricane. I despertately wanted to see a hurricane when I was in the navy stationed in the southeast. We had so many close calls. Though when I'm stationed on a ship, we have to set sail. As ships do not remain in port during hurricanes.

However we see no obvious large-scale effects to cause a substantial weakening the system and it is expected that the hurricane will be of Category 4 or 5 intensity when it reaches the coast," National Hurricane Center meteorologist Richard Pasch said.

I also hope DinoDoc, who's in northern MS, will be all right. From what I can gather, he's right in the projected path of the storm, which will hopefully have weakened considerably over land.
