on a somewhat serious note... if a religion had a "trick" or "loophole" that allowed sin, it would leave me to believe that religion/denomination is full of ****.

I was underthe impression that all relegions had loopholes as you call them. The idea is to adress the fact that you have sinned and ask for forgivness.

That leads me to the conclusion that all human religions are then, full of ****.

IMO, forgiveness is bull****... if one is truly sorry and remorseful for an evil act, one would not commit said act in the first place. You take responsibility for your actions and live a good life. If there is a God and he forgives things like murder and whatnot just because someone has faith, then I wouldn't want to live in heaven with that God. Murderers should be punished, not forgiven. And the whole idea of forgiving anyone who accepts Jesus is the very reason Christianity is full of ****. A good and just God wouldn't accept evil into heaven.

It's not just black and white, there's a huge grey area where stuff could be forgiven... but not things like murder and rape. Those are black as night.... evil...

One thing that would make me really happy? Finding the one true religion/faith. And get rid of all the dead flesh that is false, human religion.

You dont need relegion to have faith. Believe you me Im not a practicing catholic anymore. I know the rules and the laws. But have had enough bad **** happen to me to question the aspects of god. Just beause you confess doesnt mean you are forgiven and welcomed into heaven most are taught. Their is no perfect relegion the perfection comes in the face of your beliefs as a person.

A worthy task.

A good and just God wouldn't accept evil into heaven.

Then who of us could enter? We have all sinned, and done evil. Without forgiveness, no one would enter heaven, because, it is as you say, why would God just accept evil into heaven?

However, you also miss this. It isn't that God waved his hand away to say that our sins were forgiven, rather, Christ had to die on the cross to atone for our sins, to serve the punishment that otherwise would have been meted on us. He chose to do so because he loves each and every one of us, even while we are sinners, he gave his life.

We are weak. Even if we are sorry, we fall into sin, and do wrong, hurting others and ourselves.

You take responsibility for your actions and live a good life.

What is the good, sava? What counts as a good life? According to Christ, none of us are living a good life, we are all steeped in sin. If we were to be held responsible for our acts, we would each be cast into hell.

If there is a God and he forgives things like murder and whatnot just because someone has faith, then I wouldn't want to live in heaven with that God.

Is murder the worst sin one can do?
