because of your damned warship, I have had to route my vessals around scottland, adding 4 turns to their trips to the new world.
France officially apologises and will withdraw her ships, the intentions where never to harm dutch interests.
France looks upon the Netherlands as a friend, it is unfortunate that events caused by the Anglo-French hostilities has come in between our great nations.
No Fighting here, this is the war room!

          Lord Charles Monk writes…

The First Stock Exchange in the world has opened in London, for the easy trading in the shares of the new Joint Stock Companies that are the most admirable vehicle for funding new inventions, new manufacturing ventures, and new voyages of discovery and trade.

The French have refused so far to lift their blockade of the St Lawrence. The English Ambassador has delivered an ultimatum to Versailles:

Allow free passage to English ships for the ENTIRE length of the river in 1704, or England and France will be immediately at War!

We trust the French will respect that only peaceful trade along this river is intended, and to remove any fears that they might legitimately entertain, the more “enthusiastically acquisitive” sailors on board the Privateersmen have been withdrawn to the open sea.

The English have moved and file emailed to Chris due to traffic problems on this site.

Not much to report: The French civilian blockade of the St. Lawrence has been lifted, and our Galleons passed through. A request has been received from the French Ambassador that our 15th (North American) Regiment vacate areas claimed by New France south of Hudson's Bay. As our expedition is only a scouting party, it has been instructed to move off to the west, and should be clear of French possessions by the end of 1705.

Massive trade and scientific surpluses are now being generated by the vibrant English economy, which is now first in the world in per Capita income, and only slightly behind France in overall GDP.

The next item on the English agenda is political reform and religious toleration.

A Map showing English discoveries will be published later today.

                        • Thanks, laddie!

I suggest none of us takes unfair advantage of any French moves this turn, and if France has declared war on anyone we won't hold it against Henrik!

                          I'll play this turn tonight.

By the way, the Bonaparte II test we are all playing seems to have hit the buffers. I suggest we stop the game, as I have all the info I need to do the final version now.

If any of you want to play 1-on-1 or 3-player versions please indicate. I will assume Chris & Henrik will continue their existing games with me.....

OK, thanks. Sorry for not posting my turn here, but Poly was a bit busy! It is your move in the Boney test, yes?

Henrik, are you back in control of the French now?

                              • Yes, it is my move in our Boney game.

Last night was my Diplo-game night, so I didn't get the chance to play it, I will tonight.
