An era of Anglo-Dutch Co-operation
In a great expression of the eternal alliance between the two great Protestant nations, the Dutch and English ambassadors today signed the treaty of Amsterdam.
Its major provisions:
England would come to the aid of the Staats General in their war against the heathen Souix.
Holland would share its maps with the English troops to facilitate the common war effort.
Dutch Industrial technologies would be exchanged for English advances in the fields of politics and the techniques of Canal building.
Both countries look forward to further mutual assistance.
In other news, English trade gathers momentum, and the ravages of the late war are almost completely repaired- except of course for the colonies lost to French expansionism!
