Our attack force has moved off, with Spanish Dragoons leading the way, Dutch Grenidiers, Spanish musketeers and our own mounted knights protecting our heavy artillery, soon the Souix will know the power of the united provinces.

In other news, a fine Silver trade fleet has set sail for new spain, to trade with our Spanish allies.

1734 - A Year of Industry.

Foreign news: Militiamen at Falmouth fight off a new Souix phenomenon...Mounted Warriors. Fast and elusive, they nevertheless die when shot with a well-aimed musket, we can report!

At Home: A huge expenditure of taxes - specially levied the last few years on a willing populace - has permitted the employment by the State of a vast number of "Navigationals". These mainly Irish labourers have been digging a network of canals throughout England, and we hope that the functioning of our new industries will be much improved thereby....

This improvement might take some time to achieve however, as the said industries are still fledgeling, and only the West Country and the Vale of York have seen the full employment of the new productive technologies.

Next year we hope to see the full functioning of this new Canal Network

We are sure the French, particularly, will be most envious.
