Used to be Star Wars Rebellion, but Moo3 recently took this honoured position.
"The number of political murders was a little under one million (800,000 - 900,000)." - chegitz guevara on the history of the USSR.
"I think the real figures probably are about a million or less." - David Irving on the number of Holocaust victims.

These are the two with the fewest games played, which is one way that I will rank games.

            Conquest of a new world.

Maybe it's because I got it from the cheap bin where it didn't come with a manual, and so didn't know how to play, but I never finished a game.

Moo3, not horrible in concept, it's just SO not fun, that I have no desire to play any more. Only finished one game.

I've only played this game in SP, but it was fun... I have tried to install it again, but I can't get it working right, since it requires the CD to be in my cd-burner, and my cd-burner is quite noisy, so it's impossible not to get insane after 2 minutes of play time

Couldn't they just make a sequel... I'd love to have a sequel to that game
This space is empty... or is it?

Try the deluxe version of "Conquest of the New World". The reviewers didn;'t go for it 100% but I like it alot.
Avoid COLONY RUSH on Galactic Civlizations II (both DL & DA) with my Slow Start Mod.

It's not possible to buy it anywhere (offline), so I can't get it... I have downloaded it, but that one requires the CD also (can't play with just the normal CoNW cd)

Right it's awful what they did to this nice little game. Settler 1 and 2 had the flair and the atmosphere of this funny chaps running around, building and so on, it was entertaining to watch them but the 3.part ahh horrible. All of the good concepts where thrown away everything we knew and love where gone. This wasn't the game I once enjoyed so much therefore I marched back to the first two parts.

                      nobody's mentioned this one:

Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires

First, it was so buggy, I had to save every few minutes to keep playing.

It had a number of decent concepts about it, such as the spread of technology from your capitol was a slow thing (the outlying colonies didn't have such good tech), which you could speed up with trade caravans, and roads and such. Cities had a slider to allocate between production and science, and producing a few things at once was possible. Building armies took some population, building settlers took a lot, and you could manage your pop growth and city defense together.

But good hell down under! the Microscopic management. I got deluged with messages all over the place with things that needed my attention. I was buried in details. it had a thing where you could turn your empire over to the AI and watch if you wanted, so I tried that, and after a hundred turns or so, I realized I didn't even care. Never went back.

I remember that game. It oculd have been a great civ-clone... but It crashed every turn

I uninstalled it after 1 hour

It's not a bug, it's a feature See it this way:
So you can make a break and every turn to drink coffee or do something else. This was implemented so you won't get this "only one more turn syndrome". This game is good for your health

As I recall, a patch came out to fix that crash bug but I could be wrong...

War Games, however, had the absolute worst demo... and if you remember the movie- then you would know taht the crash bug was absolutely appropriate

The demo crashed... and your screen dissolved into shaking wavy lines that stayed until you rebooted the system twice and unistalled the game in safemode

I might be creating this out of my imagination, but I seem to recall hearing of a sequel to it not long ago. I agree with you though, nice game.

Best thing about it was hot seat, me and my friend spent alot of time playing that game together.
