EMPIRE I TO V or other Risk like games...

Markos is also on my ignore list.

Anyway, I thought Spaceward Ho! is half decent. Sure, there's not a whole lot to do in the game, but it's not a big game. The theme twist is interesting as well.

The worst empire building game is Birth of the Federation. Ye gad.

Where the *** does this thread come from

The ignore thing has to do with the antiqueness of this thread...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

I must repeat, since some persons have lost the obvious.

Outpost certainly deserves a mention here.

Since it's routinely called the worst game ever, I imagine it would have to be one of the worst empire building games too.

                      Star Trek: New Worlds-AWFUL

Horribly simplistic gameplay, no save feature, and riddled with bugs.

Quiet, you! Transport Tycoon (at least the deluxe edition) is the greatest tycoon game ever made. The only problem wiht it is the retarded AI. But it still manages to be incredibly enjoyable with it.

Although maybe your mind has changed since you posted this 4 years ago.

Is that the one with the candy cane forests and peppermint mines? Classic stuff.

Solution : Don't play with AI. It's amazing how less it suffers from the boringness, altough it's almost similar to SimCity-series...

Empire was a good game for its day and age- quite sophisticated- although the war fighting took far too long... it should have been sped up or skipped

Markos is on peoples' ignore lists because he accidentally deleted his old account and had to reconsturct his account.

                                Wasn't Elite a space-game?
That would be pretty cheap if he did resue it thoguh, I will agree.

And yes, the AI is annoying- but you have to admit- it's the best transport game... Industry Giant was trash; the recent transport game- Car Tycoon is trash, and Detroit was too hard to play
