Ufo-Xcom/Pirates/Civ - i can't choose between the three easily, each at the time took up lots of my time

      I'm recently re-discovering:

Reunion - fun space exploration game.

Magic The Gathering(Microprose version- bless their never forgotten cotten socks).

      and discovering:

Ascendancy - which is interesting with the patch and aggresive AI fix.

Daggerfall - which despite being a suposed Win95/98 game, runs much better in Dos(doesn't crash as much).

I seem to spend more time these days playing old Dos games, they did things in a somehow more gripping way

The Antag patch did help a bit, but the AI is still brain dead. I still like the sound effects for combat, the visuals were quite good for the time.

I have trouble with the mouse now on XP.

If you want, you can get more for free online. Just look up DOS games, on any search engine. There's tons of sites. Be careful what you download, only go for the more popular gaems, the crappy ones are the ones that scred my compy over.

mine is daggerfall i was going to post some others like quake, doom, or civ1 but all those have been since converted to run better under windows and playing the dos versions is pointless.

I'm a little bit confused now, I was thinking about Comrade Keen, and now i can't remeber which game was the first Kenn. Is the first keen the one where you're on Mars?? I'm too lazy to check the Id site.

Very good game, with the expansions. Unfortunately the CD got corrupted so I can't play.

I would say Stunts! I still play that game, trying to beat out the high scores.

I still have not successfully driven some of the courses.
