                You are correct. In the current HUlk arc, the "Secret Conspiracy" frees the Abomination after failing for the zillionth time to capture the HUlk. They decide after a review of the Abomination/Hulk fights, that almost every Hulk victory was a cop-out.

                  Out of all of Spidey's villians, why Doc Ock? Doom doesn't need any help to think up a clever plan. He seems to me the weak link of the whole chain.
