So why doesn't that work for women? "Go away, you big meanie!"

Sometimes women are indeed able to overpower men. Sometimes they use drugs that facilitate rape. Sometimes they are in a position of power in which they can coerce a man into sex against his will.

Regardless, it does happen. Not with the frequency of men raping women or men, but it certainly does happen.

Lol, a friend of mine had been to Spain.
He was what you would define as "raped" by some hookers. He told them he was the son of "Kjell Inge Røkke" a billionaire in Norway.
So they drugged him down and had sex with him.
He did NOT complain as I understood it

and let us not forget women raping other women.

We had a case like this in Israel. a woman dressed as a man, and used a knife to threaten women into submission. She then ****ed them with a strap-on.

            She also seduced high-school girls.

Just because your friend was disturbed enough to "enjoy" such a thing does not mean it would not be rape for a person who did not enjoy it.

                Rapists don't think like that.
Good! That means that the rapist population will begin to permanently decline in large numbers, via firearms!

Isn't that just turning 'self defence' into 'execution'?

All men are not stronger than all women. I've known more than a few women who could easily beat my ass, (especially most of Bunnygrrl's aunts )

2: It would be a rape if they had sex. What? Was he supposed to get a boner out of fear???

Yes, men can get erections from fear. They can also have involuntary erections if stimulated. Just because your body responds doesn't mean you want to have sex.

                    • Sorry IS, no doesn't always mean no. It would be nice if it did, but it doesn't.

A survey was conducted some years ago by the University of Texas at Austin, I believe, which proved that a large majority of women have said "no" when they meant "yes".

Of course a man has to be clever enough to recognise a real "no" from a false one - and that isn't that hard for any regular person.

IMHO the perpetrators of the poster defacement were probably trying to get up the nose of the sad face feminists that post such things rather than glorify rape.

                      • Legally, no means no. If she means yes, says no, and you have sex, you have committed sexual assault. Yeah, women sometimes play stupid games. Don't play them. No means no.

                        • It isn't men playing the games.

And I believe that the application of the law isn't that tight. If it is then that is a problem.

I actually have a problem with the way the rape law is adminstered and interpreted by the authorites and other institurions anyway. In response to claims from feminists the notion that people are innocent before they are proven guilty has largely gone out the window.

To illustrate, here's a well known case from my old university in New Zealand.

A female student in a residence; let's call her A; was doing badly at school and was stressing out over her exams. A friend of hers told her that all she needed to do was claim that she had been raped and she would get an aegrotat pass instead of having to sit the exams.

So A went to the university authorities and claimed that her RA had raped her. There was no other evidence other than her own statements. No one could even prove that the RA had been around at the time of the supposed assault.

So, the residence kicks him out, the university kicks him out, and the police charge him with rape. He's basically Mr S**t in the university community and in the local area and receives death threats.

Despite there being no evidence other than the statement of the alleged victim the police press ahead with the prosecution. People come forward to state that he hadn't been even in town on the relevant date. The police press ahead with the prosecution anyway.

                          A fair while goes by.....

Eventually, his (by no means well off) parents hire a private detective to try and prove he wasn't there. The detective uses his bank records to find out that he had used his credit card several times on that night and obtains security camera footage from bank machines and a gas station that prove he was 150 miles away from the residence at the time of the supposed assault and had stayed away the entire weekend.

He takes this to the police who reinterview A who admits that the whole thing was a lie.

So the police drop the case. This guy had lost a year of his life, been the subject of threats and had basically been Mr S**t in our town for months. If the parents hadn't hired a PD the case would have gone ahead, costing his family a fortune in legal fees.

So what happens - the university apologises and expels A. The police refuse to prosecute her for wasting police time (I don't know why) and she basically gets off. Feminist organisations on campus take the bizarre step of refusing to condemn her and rave on about a conspiracy.

This is the social and legal climate in which rape cases take place. There is no hope of being treated fairly by the police or your employer simply because radical feminists (and don't get me wrong - I agree with them about most things) have lobbied and lobbied to make sure that rape is dealt with like this. In other words the idea of someone being innocent until proven guilty and the requirement for a decent amount of evidence have gone out the window when it comes to rape.

If you think this is an isolated case, it isn't. It was just highly publcised. I know of one other case (a friend's cousin) in which much the same thing happened.

                          It's simply appalling.

I imagine you have no freaking clue how scary it is to be mugged, how out of control you feel when it's happening, how you don't feel safe walking around anymore. And I wasn't even overtly threatened with violence.

On the other hand, I could be passed out cold and raped. Unless someone told me, I might not even be aware it happened.
Well, gangs in certain parts of the US have adopted a new tactic for brutalizing their victims. they shoot them in the spinal cord, paralyzing them for life. Since the victim doesn't die if the shooter is caught he is onl7y charged for aggravated assault and malicious wounding, but I'd have to say that that being paralyzed for life is a lot worse than rape. An assailant could also deliberately make mince meat out of his victim's face, limbs, or other body parts.

Uh, if someone raped you while you were passed out I think you's know it when you woke up. Sodomy hurts alot unless it's something that you do regularily. Do you?

Generally that is not likely. Fear is more likely to make getting an erection impossible.

Isolated cases are not the rule, they are exceptions. They can make you think, but they can't be used to backup arguments.
