So why didn't the Republicans try and impeach him on this? Oh, that's right, because they were just as guilty.

Absolutely. Someone must bring order to chaos and that burden falls to us. Don't worry. We'll be coming to Georgia soon enough.

Yes, and confine your answers to the 20th century for the sake my convenience.

Governor Ryan of Illinois certainly seems to be pretty good on foreign policy. Hell, I'd even vote for the man if I still lived in Illinois. Okay, so he's probably in it up to the eyeballs in the payola for license scandal, but he's done a lot of good for Illinois. Definately better than Edgar, maybe better than 'Big Gay' Jim Tompson.

            Ryan for President!

Well now I can't. That just leaves Ike and Teddy (and maybe Taft, he wasn't so bad).

                Everybody likes Ike.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I did vote for him, and don't regret it.

What I find humorous is all the Democrats tying desperately to nail him on the license scandal... considering all the Chicago Democrats have been living on kick backs for years...

The economic downturn started during his term, April of 2000, and was a (samll) factor in Gores loss.

which god is that (you writing it with a lower case letter and all)

Anyway, it's funny how the rest of the world misses Clinton, and the Americans don't. Then again, it's also funny that Clinton had high popularity ratings in the US when he was in office, but low ones when he got out. Bizarre. (well not bizarre, just right wing indoctrination )
Saint Marcus, Clinton always had good job performance ratings but very poor "character" ratings. While a lot of his poor ratings were because of the sex scandals, a lot of it also had to do with out-and-out political corruption and lying while under oath.

Had Clinton been honest, he would have had a very successful presidency.

Edit: Sorry, I lost my temper. I am sick of this Marcus character... quite an attitude... and he is a hypocrit too. Always trying to attack the right when his beliefs are very weak.

But he never would have been elected, his worst lying was during campaigns.

Ming, that is the reason why I edited it. I am basically sick and tired of being burned by several people who don't have a clue about what I think.
