Your country is? Considering 90% of the wealth is located in the government I wouldn't count on it.

well, this about explains that comment:

"Fez clearly lives in an alternate reality. There is simply no other explanation."

Bah! Name one Republican president that Europe has liked!

Such a rebuttal. I am so stupified by your stunning use of evidence and wit.

So I take it you are admiting you just invented those figures of 30 to 40 percent approval for Clinton. I suppose you always call the truth mere propaganda. Clinton had high approval ratings most of his time in office. If you want to claim otherwise you had best back up your claims. I know you don't understand the concept of support but NO ONE is backing you on this because even the Right Wingers know you invented those numbers.

That's using reverse logic. We don't dislike Republican presidents because they are republican, but simply because their policies suck.

To elaborate, 'cause I haven't seen anyone else explain:

                  US Constitution, Amendment 22; passed March 21, 1947; ratified February 27, 1951

Summary: No person may be elected President more than twice. No person who completes more than two years of another President's term may be elected more than once.

George Washington was the first to limit himself to two terms and Franklin Roosevelt ran for a third and fourth term in 1940 and 1944 respectively. This Amendment was added, presumably, to formalize the traditional Presidential term limit set by George Washington after FDR broke with that tradition.

Frankly, I don't see the need. In order to keep office at any level, you have to be popular with the voters (for the most part...WELL aware of other less-than-democratic factors in politics...), and in order to be popular with the voters, you have to do your job to their liking or else they won't reelect you. FDR was a good enough President that he won a third term in 1940 and felt he was popular enough to run for a fourth, prior to the 22nd Amendment.

If a person does their job and does it well, let them run.
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

I echo those that said 'Thank God' that Clinton couldn't run again.

Not like he would do anything different than Georgie Boy, he just would have lied about the whole thing, while doing it. I mean, who really believes that Clinton didn't have a shadow government, etc?

What I find curious is that one president with such poor foreign policy skills is loved by Europe, while another president who Europe says is poor on foreign policy is hated. It boggles the mind.

You'd think we'd learn about electing Governors to President, eh? None of them can figure out foreign policy. We should let states declare war on each other for 'experience' .

Capital idea! Mississippi could definately use some breathing room. We should declare war on Louisiana right now.
