No way would Clinton have done the exact same things Bush is doing right now and for the past couple of years. I don't buy that.

Anybody who misses Clinton needs some serious help. Unless you miss the news headlines saying: "Bill Clinton gets blow job from Monica".

The only difference between Clinton and Bush, is that Bush is honest.

Do you miss being lied to?
About what? About him having an affair? Nobody should have asked him for an answer in the first place, it's his own private life. And if he is asked, he has a right to lie about things like that.

          Thank god.
which god is that (you writing it with a lower case letter and all)

Anyway, it's funny how the rest of the world misses Clinton, and the Americans don't. Then again, it's also funny that Clinton had high popularity ratings in the US when he was in office, but low ones when he got out. Bizarre. (well not bizarre, just right wing indoctrination )

Your gulibility reminds me of a quote from DarkHelmet.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

The world doesn't miss a stupid, lying b*stard who launched some missiles up a camels ass after terrorists hit several US embassies.

Well Bush knows what he is doing when it comes to the economy and international relations. Clinton did not. I think I can come up with several other differences.

oh grow up giancarlo. you do not equal the world. if you look at Clinton's popularity ratings in, for instance, Europe you'd see that people like him a lot better than Bush.

Clinton's approval ratings averaged about 30-40% in the US and Europe alike.

Yeah, really, with all that Hollywood tail going though the White House you'd think the Pres could have gotten a quality mistress. I mean, JFK had Monroe ferchissake. The most powerful man in the world has a an example to set by banging the most beautiful women in the world.

No, you're wrong. A president isn't the moral leader of a nation. The Pope is a moral leader, imans and bishops are, but not politicians. Granted, a president shouldn't break the law, but having an affair is hardly breaking the law. And on top of that, there are dozens upon dozens of politicians that have or have had affairs. Hell, even boring old John Mayor had an affair!! If you really believe politicians should be saints, you're living in a dream world.

Clinton/Gore broke the law in the 1996 elections... funding scandals... etc...

Also Marcus, you don't speak for other euros.
