  • I miss Bill

Clinton delivered a very moving speech today, I watched it live on tv. Made me realise how much I miss having him as the leader of the free world. Why can't you guys just re-elect him? please?

    It's not allowed.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

              Yeah, I miss him, too.

I miss the prosperity of the Clinton Era, the sense of hopefulness. I miss the leadership he showed and the respect we once held from the rest of the globe. I miss his efforts to bring peace to Ireland, Israel and other places.

I miss mocking a president for his moral failings and not his stupidity and for being a brainless puppet of his handlers. I don't mind a sleazy president, I can't stand an idiotic one.

I must echo the sentiments of my fellow Americans, thank goodness. If he had been allowed to run again, he would have been elected overwhelmingly, but that smarmy feel-good bastard would have just let the liberals continue to hang in the wind while carrying out the Republican agenda.

So Chegitz, you still believe that "things have to get bet worse before they can get better stuff, huh?"
I remember saying that after having supported Ralph after Bush won.

Editing my words for a cheap shot? Tsk tsk.

Clinton was genuinely interested in peace for the Mideast and worked very hard to achieve it. The breakdown into violence wasn't his doing--Sharon and Arafat did that on their own.

They don't have to get worse, they just do. The question was never whether it was going to get worse or not, it was just whether we were going to have any illusions that the leaders of the system was on our side. Bill would say all the right things, and do what Bush does now. Gore would have been the same way. The only difference between Bush and Clinton is that Clinton was slicker about it.
