I pointed out just what ****ed us up, and I provided a link to a CP article that acknowledeged that high interest rates were bad for us too but that the NEP was what turned a mild recession into something much worse.

And no one is disputing that at least I am not. What I am saying is at that time it was the best thing for the country. You know that place where Alberta is? Canada? I am also pointing out the government of Alberta turned off the wells and hurt the economy too. I am pointing out the government out there with all it's revenue did nothing to ensure Alberta's position at the time.
