I'll drink to wholeheardidily agreement to that David, you are an honorable person. I'm a bit more extreme, I don't believe in sex without marriage or at least without engagement. And no I'm not a Jehovah's Witness.

          I agree with you.

Though I didn't quite follow this rule in the past, with some not so pleasent results.

So leave your partner. If he or she doesn't satisfy you, leave. And then sleep with others. Not the other way around.

          • Do you ever notice that men mostly try to hide the fact that they cheated from their wife while women almost always go home and tell their husband that they cheated and it is all his fault?

Oh, and Imran, you take too many sleeping pills during the day -- time to get off of those.

Actually I don't have cable so I rarely use my TV for anything more then watching DVDs or VHS tapes. I get cr*p from my friends about being to cheap for cable but I really do think to much TV rotes the mind and makes people fat couch potatos.

I prefer to spend my free time being a computer potato here at poly!

                  • Infidelity is always wrong. But sleeping with friends in a casual manner, if you are not engaged in a declared relationship (IOW, nobody would really get upset if they found out), I see nothing wrong with this.

i dont agree with the concept infidelity but the song is nice.

Stupid and superficial sex can be good. ( although it pales compared to being with someone you love)

                          • have to say though, around me monogamous marriages are the exception.

                            everybody's cheating on everybody.

maybe it happens to you too but you dont know.

i find it always spectacular the blissful oblivion into which dwell the cheatees.

in a recent study it was found that 40% of partners cheat on their husbands/wives

(dont remember if the % was for man or woman)

but, to each their own...while it's against my personal values, i don't have any problem with anyone else doing it

Thats good. I have alot of respect for people who can think one way and dont mind others to contridict this (as long as it doesnt harm others or society, of course). I cant stand it when others try to push their values onto me - like this Jahovas witness woman who came to my door the other day, sheesh. I was polite (as always) in telling her to please leave me alone.
