He's smarter then you dumb-asses, becuase he's telling YOU what to do while you wail impotently at him on a game site.
-Nah. He's inherited the position largely. Just because someone can tell you what to do doesn't necessarily mean they're smarter, often it's the opposite (see Dilbert Principle).

Bush hasn't told me what to do about anything.

And telling people what to do doesn't in anyway indicate intelligence.

110 - 120, not dumb, but certainly not smart enough to 'lead the free world'.

does anyone know the correct answer? wasn't there an estimate done a couple of years ago?

Its not his sig, and 62 is the year he was born. Long before you were even a gleam in your father's eye no doubt.

Honestly, I said 100-110. Bush is probably of about average intelligence, but is inordinately inarticulate and prone to verbal gaffes, like his father but only much worse. In addition, he has probably damaged his brain a good deal with his earlier drinking and coke-snorting habits, compounding problems.

He probably does have a learning disability, and it's probably mild dyslexia. Nothing that hasn't afflicted much smarter people, though.

Why do you need an High IQ to lead the free world?

I, in fact, welcome the average. My problem with Bush (and the same one I have with Gore) is that he is in Big Businesses pocket.

Oh, like you aren't cranky, Chris?

The fact that the man is President doesn't mean he's intelligent. Lot's of less than brilliant people end up on top because of who they are, not they are. Conversely, lots of really smart folks don't succeed because they lack connections.

He succeeded in business only because people handed him businesses. He succeeded in politics only because people handed him offices (including the Presidency of the United States).

As others mentioned, he was an adequate student. If you have enough money you can get into any school. Motor skills don't prove how smart you are.

In the 120-130 range. Just a wild guess though.

I don't follow that child around poly, Che.
He seems to think that it will somehow raise his stature if he can get my goat somehow.

                          Typical infantile thinking.

Connections only get you so far in life, this is all sour grapes and you know it.

                          Sour grapes again.

Neither does who your daddy was, and all the connections in the world won't propell you to the top, where he is.

You don't like his politics, fine.
                          I don't either.

You think he's dumb, the facts don't support it.

I didn't like Clinton, but the man was clearly far more intelligent than Bush. I detested Bush's father, but he also was clearly more intelligent. We have to go back to Reagan to find a president as dumb as Shrubya.
You mean we have to go back to a "dumb" president who brought the Soviets to their knees and ended the coldwar, as compared to a "smart" one who brought an intern to hers?

Oh, one last thing Che, if money and connections is the only criteria to being elected, why aern't Forbes and Perot in the white house?

If anyone believes that a dumb person can't make it into the white house, all they have to do is look is look at Dan Qualye. No one can deny that he was a rather dim bulb, yet all it would have taken was a heart attack on the part of George Bush Sr. to make him the President.
