Yeah, I do think that the fingerprinting ought to be applied to everyone (just imagine all the government jobs that's gonna create, yikes!). But I do think concentrating the investigative resources of the FBI counterterrorism unit on young male Saudis/Iraqis/Iranians/Syrians/etc. more than on other groupings of people makes sense. Otherwise referred to as "profiling."
In other words, fingerprint them all, but the ones you are going to concentrate on will be the ones who belong to the age/gender/nationality group that is most likely to travel to the US in order to blow things up. That means that I would pay a little bit more attention to a 22 year old man born in Saudi Arabia who is entering the US via Pakistan. Please note that the argument that terrorists are also homegrown (Oaklahoma bombing) doesn't pertain to this issue, as we are talking about foreigners entering the country.
