Nevertheless, if we accept the total voting population percentage at 4.2%, it places gay, lesbian, and bisexual voters as more numerous than American Jews or Asian-Americans, even with these two other minority groups combined (page 49). END OF EXCERPT

And besides that -- what about those who are not registered to vote, who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual? That would only increase the percentages of those groups of people in the United States.

IIRC, American Jews make up 6% of the population, which would be greater than 4.2% .

And yes, I do understand statistics, Jon Miller -- you're just claiming I do not understand just because you disagree with the sources I cite, and you disagree with my claims.

I still hold by the strong claim that about 5% of the world's population is homosexual.
