You should talk. You butchered a whole peoples

Today, there is bloodshed in Tureky because they treat kurds like scum. If they treated them like human beings there wouldn'e be bloodshed.

The same applies everywhere in the world.

I don't think that is why Palestine is fighting Israel every moment they get, and yes the United States has some horrible background but hopefully we can evolve past that. The Native Americans are the last nationality we slaughtered just because of race, I wish other nations would join in that kind of thinking, no one race of people is better than another and all should be treated as they want to be treated, some wishful thinking, eh?

So put your money where your mouth is and stop supporting a country (Turkey) that massacres another people (Kurds) based on their race

Do you support democratic ideals or do you not?

Ugh? The Average American Midde Class makes 50,000 - 80,000 and has 2 cars, and a 1700 square foot house And our middle class is larger than our lower class.

Europe cant even compare. Most of you guys live in 50 year old homes and still rely on Bus schedules

There's several problems with this. One, the US is, per person, extremely indiviualistic. And we typically expect other people to be. Many Americans also don't really think its there business to worry about other countries, instead bleiving that tehy should take care of themselves.

Two, the US is, per person, extremly individualistic, and we tend to expect it of other cultures as well. Many Americans think it IS their business to worry about other countries, and want to basically make sure everything conforms to our ethical and moral views.

                      See any conflict here?

The third problem is that the US government is a government, and is most concerned with its own propagation. So it protects ITS citizens, and values THEIR lives over the lives of non-citizens. So if a bunch of people across the world pay the price for our safety, the government thinks thats a pretty good trade off. Non-nationals don't get to vote in elections. The US government supports human rights when it suits it, and only when it suits it.

The highest per capita income in the world, the best educational and wealth system in the world, almost zero unemployment and it is very rare to see homeless people in Norway.

hmm, yes we are rather dissapointed with what our cities have turned into. and the way our culture is going i think its only going to get worse, however there are still many areas of america that are grand, and I hope that they will continue to be as long as i live. Because as bad as things can be here, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live. well, except maybe tahitti.

Not accoring to official UN stats. For instance, Paris is a crime ridden sewer in comparison to New York City. Let's also not forget the HDI stats.
