You better hope we never decide to seriously turn our guns at you, last thing you would hear is the whistle of a bomb as our stealths go overhead, I suggest you bring your thinking to the year 2000.
Defiant, you have the most advanced army in the world right now and counting 1.5 million soldiers in service.

How could a little country like mine with 150.000 soldiers and far less weaponry handle with you?

I don't understand what the whole conversation has to do with the subject of the thread?
We begun with the violation of the FIR of Athens and end up to an imaginary conflict between Greece and USA wich are allies and have fought in both world wars side by side will Turkey was in the opposite camp.

God get a hold of yourself

The Kurds are a different nation inhabited in the area before the arrival of the Turks. They fought for their freedom using all means, even terrorism as Turkish was already doing against them.

Didn't you fought for your freedom too three centuries back?
And you were of the same nationality with the British

Of course Im just joking Key.

I would rather there be peace between you two. But your complaining over few air space-violations (its obvouis turks do it on purpose) So why dont you just stay with the status quo or get the EU to apply a bit of pressure on Ankara. Since there obvouisy doing it on purpose and with intent to piss-off.

I was quite serois about USA supporting Turkey. On the USA-Buddy scale, Greece is a 5, whie turkey is like an 8.

            Key,
Again I was just making light of the problems between Greece and Turkey and the chest thumping until you happen to insult the USA with Somalia and Vietnam, I take that a little personal when we lose soldiers, even 10 and espeically if they are dragging them through the streets, good thing I wasn't President or a tactical nuke could have been used and there would be few less warlords in Somlia.

I don't think any of the NATO countries would choose sides unless one side was the obvious agressor. If Turkey lauched an unprovoked attack on Greece then NATO (including the US) would back Greece. If it happened the other way around, then they would back Turkey. It is unlikely that anything would happen anyway with Greece reliant on EU money to get up to speed in Europe and Turkey wanting in on the cash as well at some point.

Im not of British descent (german/Russian, and damn proud of it)

But theres just no place in the region for a Kurdish nation. We both know that.... Its that simple

BTW:Big fire-fight north of khandahar. 19 Al-Queda dead, 22 surrendured...1 US marine with richochet that hit his ankle. Damn...we are good. Those odds rock.

                  Why not complain?

So if you know they do it purpose why do you support them?
Doesn't make much sence to me...

They will have plenty of space after we nuke Iraq.

                      Key,
I never ignore history, I also don't dwell on it, the overwhelming victory in Iraq is a direct result of Vietman, we were not going to make the same mistake twice, and what did we do, (with our coalition partners) virtually wiped out I believe the fourth largest standing army at the time within a half a year. No Key, we will never forget the past but today is different.

that's why you don;t have any integrity in the world. You «support» a military regime who violates the interntional laws instead of a democracy. And I bet you do it the world over too.

But last time I checked the US is far from being an enemy to Greece. You can't in your serious mind contemplate that iof war breaks US will aid Turkey

And in the grand scheme of things Greece has far, far more friends than Turkey does. From The russians and the arabs and the yes, in part, the americans to the EU.

                        What does Tureky have?

While we are here talking the people of turkey are starving.

Does that make you happy? We have a far superior economy and we live like kings in comparison and with freedom sicne we are a democracy.

But you said one good thing faded, that the EU shuould pressure Turkey, well guess what, it already does.

                        Take lessons.

                            lol eli

no but really...Kurdistan is the size of Syria. And its area cover's 5 different nations. If there were ever a "Kurdistan" it would ignite a hugepowder keg. Iran, Tukey, Syria, Iraq, and somthing stan (Ajer?) would lose huge chunks of there territory. That simply...can never be.

I live in the greatest Democracy and we have people starving here too, that is a worldly problem that all rational nations try to limit or fix.
Like I said before the USA would never let two nations like Greece and Turkey go to serious confrontations, doesn't make any sense.

Kurds should have a country of their own. WHo are you to say they can't?
