According to NATO reports Greek pilots have the highest rankings in NATO's exercises. Their ratings are higher from all NATO members.

The greatest military in the world(USA) laughs at all you little countries beating your chests, when you can take on a fully loaded F-14 with a Phoenix missile or the soon to be active Y-22 Raptor and actually beat one, then you can start thumping your chest.

Does this mean that they can handle American and Isreali pilots as well because they have AAMRAMs?

          So?

We have friend too. We are member of EU and currently in Euro Zone.

In the contrary Turkey is near economically collapsing.
They sent Etsevit to beg for a big loan.

Did you know that a Greek paratroop battalion wiped out an entire Turkish battalion with no single casualty in the battle of the airport of Nicossia in 1974?

Did you know that a Greek paratroop on his own with a single anti-tank weapon and 8 missiles destroyed 6 Turkish tanks in Nicossia also in 1974?

Hands down.....USA would support turkey. Maybe not 20 years ago, but times have changed.

Also...a bit off topic for this thread, it looks likes its confirmed now that we are going after Iraq as part of the WoT. I guess Bush slipped a few 20's in Ecevits pockets ...he now doesnt seem to think that a US attack will hurt turkish integrity. Which is a big 360 compared to last month

Ahh.....the Zionist/Yankee conspiracy hard at work ousting those who disagree

Were you accually laughing back in 1964-1974 in Vietnam?

I forgot, what happened to your rangers in Somalia?
I remeber watching in TV a Somalian dancing on the ass of a dead American ranger.

                You have short memory...

                  Faded,
You know why that is, I'll bet Bush told Ecevits that if he doesn't worry too much about us ripping another ******* in Iraq that Kurdistan can be under his control after the war, what ya think?

And....the US would not allow Greece and Turkey to get into a sustained war.

                    Because Turkey would attack us?

                        Really Key,
We should have never been in Vietnam, no support and if I am correct our Somaly force took on 5000 somalians with what 150 troops and wiped out nearly half of them while we lost 10 and Clinton was largely to blame. You better hope we never decide to seriously turn our guns at you, last thing you would hear is the whistle of a bomb as our stealths go overhead, I suggest you bring your thinking to the year 2000.

I'll be your right Defiant! Good political move anyway....the Kurds are a bunch of Terrorists anyways. So we use Turkey for Base, use Kurds in the north to topple Regime along with a few US divisions.

Then we leave our military presence in the region for good...and turn a blind eye to what the turks do to the PKK some years later!

                            Damn your good defiant
