Agreed, which is why I mentioned the significantly weaker NFC. Regardless whoever takes the NFC, they will have a major uphill battle in the superbowl as Pats, Steelers and Indy to my mind are far superior than anything the NFC has to offer at present (assuming Eagles w/o TO that is)

While all the experts would agree that the AFC has the superior teams... the same was said by all the experts in the NBA last year. The East sucked, and who ever won the West should just be handed the trophy... and look what happened. And that was a seven game series, not just a one game winner take all. Anything can happen on any given Sunday

They are worse off than Minny without Moss. The Vikings have Burleson who had a 1,000 yard season also.

Denver lost to a team that scored over 500 points this year! No shame in that. They made the playoffs in the difficult AFC. Are you saying San Diego isn't a real team either?

The Saints were a St. Louis loss from making the playoffs. Hell, they also played the Rams who are in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Seattle went to the playoffs as well (though Atlanta really didn't try in that game).

I'd hardly say beating a brain dead Carolina team is that much of an achievement, even if they were on a tear.

And saying you're a loss away from the playoffs is a poor argument in the NFC Imran.
