    • The blogs I have read have generally agreed that early voting has not been included, but of course, these are just blogs. I have not heard anything official from any of the news sources.

Well, I'm not looking for one atm, but why have early voting and not count them until the end? That just doesn't make sense. "Okay, polls are closed, let's count those early voters."

        • Some speculation locally that all the write-in votes (for county prosecutor) could have slowed down Hamilton County in Ohio. Also suburbs here have supposedly been voting late. One would think this would help Bush, though Kerry has actually doee pretty well here so far it seems.

Not yet, but if he can't come back in Ohio, it will be. I played around with the LA Times thing and I couldn't find a realistic scenario where Kerry loses Ohio and still wins (I did find a couple of tie scenarios, which, of course, would mean Bush wins).

            • FL has been clear for hours. Bush seems to be taking both Ohio and Florida with a ~52/48, winning electoral vote ~274/265, but he'll end up losing the popular vote to Kerry (California hasn't been counted yet...). Four more years, I say.

              Kerry still has hope, huh?

And, don't forget about the military vote.

Apprently FL early votes have not been counted. Florida remains Too Close to Call!

Ohio will remain Too Close to Call for the foreseeable future.

NBC News reports that one of their polls said 27% of Americans support gay marriage and 35% of Americans support civil unions. That's almost 2/3 of the population--far from the "majority" that crazy religious extremists keep babbling about that are against gay rights.

                    • CNN says only 500,000 votes in Florida yet to be counted. VERY little chance Kerry could overtake. FL is over.

                        1. They need to vote 650k Kerry and 350k Bush, which is unlikely, even if they were all from Democrat areas.
                        2. Absentee ballot people are often military.
                        3. Most news networks have called FL already.

                              • Kerry will regain 60,000 of that from Cuyahoga alone, but it might not be enough. If he loses OH, he's toast.
