  • I stuck with NBC after all. I've always been a Tom Brokow fan, this is his last hurrah.

Bill Richardson D Gov NM is on right now.

    He's talking about navajo votes.

    I have a question.

If the reservations are independant nations, why do they get to vote for a U.S. president?

Brokaw has always been a class act in my opinion I kind of grew up listening to him on the NBC evening news.

He can't hold a candle to the one's I grew up with: Walter Cronkite and Huntley/Brinkley.

          • I heard that Cheney has no interest in running for prez (and his health precludes that).

So who will run for republican president in 2008?

              • Cheny will not run for President. McCain may be too old? Rudy? I'm not sure he would do well.

                Who else is there?

Perhaps, but I don't think I would vote for him. Unless someone really really liberal ran on the dems side.

What do you think went wrong?

I'm just curious because I honestly thought Bush would lose.

Bush is leading in Ohio and New Mexico. If he takes Ohio he has won. Even a tie would favor him.

I meant before the election. I honestly thought Bush would end up on the losing end.

Ohio is already going to Bush. He's got it locked.
