First that film maker was wrong in makleing than anti-islam film and he brought his own death on himself.

So people that criticize Islam should be put to death? Please tell me that you consider yourself to be an extremist Muslim fundamentalist rather than a moderate one.

We have this wonderful thing in Western society Charles called the law. If this guy was found to be making a film that was inciting hatred against Muslims, there are laws to punish him for it. Why should a lone Muslim nut take it upon himself to be the judge, jury and executioner?

Funnily enough, van Gogh was sentenced for anti-semitism in 1991. As was already mentioned in this thread he stirred controversy among Christians, Jews and Muslims. Having not seen his work I don't know if his 'anti-semitic' works were more damning than his others, but I would hope that it wasn't treated more severly because it was viewed as anti-semitic as opposed to being an indictment of any another religion. I don't really approve of anti-semitism being treated more seriously then any other form of hate crime.

I digress. Charles, this guy annoyed people from three different religions, yet only the Muslim guy took the law into his own hands, probably because he shared the same enlightened philosophy as you: that he brought his death upon himself.

Holand doesnot enforce they law well enough on hate film so a brave man have to do it.

It's much better for us to have larger mosques with an imam we know for being kosher. Since the Muslim organizations want to integrate the Republic, they'll happily agree having a moderate imam in a large mosque, whereas small ones may be out of their control.

In the El Paso Muslim community of 3000 I never saw than muslim man beat his wife in public. Wife beater come from all background not muslim like you are asumeing.
